  6. Cochrane Library Abstracts of Systematic Reviews (UK)
    The Cochrane Library Abstracts of Systematic Reviews is a searchable database of the most up to date Cochrane Systematic Reviews. Includes reviews of CAM therapies.
  7. Complementary and Alternative Medicine Evidence Online (CAMEOL) database (UK)
    CAMEOL database reviews research evidence of effectiveness of a number of specific therapies within areas of NHS Priority. These include cancer, mental health, coronary heart disease and stroke and chronic conditions such as arthritis, asthma, back pain, diabetes and multiple sclerosis.

    The British Homeopathic Library indexes homeopathic literature in this free database.
  15. Information on Dietary Supplements (IBIDS) Database
    The IBIDS database provides access to bibliographic citations and abstracts from published, international, and scientific literature on dietary supplements.
  16. NAPRALERT Database (US)
    NAPRALERT is a relational database of all natural products, including ethnomedical information, pharmacological/biochemical information of extracts of organisms in vitro, in situ, in vivo, in humans (case reports, non-clinical trials) and clinical studies. Similar information is available for secondary metabolites from natural sources.
  17. National Electronic Library for Health Programme (NeLM) Complementary and Alternative Medicine Collection (UK)
    Within the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Special Library, users can select from "quick links" of CAM therapies (e.g., acupuncture, homeopathy) and conditions (e.g., cancer, migraine) or enter a search term. Each search will result in a display for five different types of resources available: guidance and pathways; evidence; reference; education; and patient information.

    Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database contains information on natural products and alternative treatment modalities. It is considered the gold standard for evidence-based information on natural products.
