About the Symposium, Nov. 19-21, 2010
The 6th IN-CAM Research Symposium, in collaboration with two of our partners HomeoNet and PedCAM, will take place at The Sutton Place Hotel in beautiful Vancouver, BC, home of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, November 19-21, 2010.
With an on-going commitment to fostering excellence in CAM and Integrative Health Care (IHC) research, the theme of the 6th Symposium is:
Complementary and Integrative Health Care: Methodological, Theoretical and Practical Issues The Symposium is an excellent opportunity for CAM researchers and health care professionals from Canada and internationally to share, discuss, and critically debate their research findings. Past IN-CAM Research Symposia have been described as excellent networking opportunities, where new project ideas have evolved, research teams have formed, and graduate students have met their future supervisors. The Friday Night Public Lecture and Reception, which was introduced at the 5th Symposium with great success, is a wonderful opportunity to engage both the public and Symposium participants in CAM research discussions. This year’s Friday night event, scheduled for Fri. Nov. 19, 2010, will be in recognition of the 2009 Dr Rogers Prize for Excellence in CAM winners – Dr. Hal Gunn and Dr. Badri Rickhi. If you have any questions regarding the Symposium, please contact our Symposium Coordinators: Natasha Kachan (n.kachan@utoronto.ca) and Ania Kania (akania@ucalgary.ca) We look forward to seeing you in Vancouver in November 2010! Heather Boon and Marja Verhoef
